Parallel Chibiusa

Chibiusa again... I'm sorry I promise I'll draw something different! Eventually...

Working in the Toei style is fun! I've seen lots of fanart of Kousagi from Parallel Sailor Moon, and even the Parallel inner senshi, but I don't think I've seen much fanart of the other Parallel characters.

In Parallel Sailor Moon, Chibiusa is both quite different yet still the same. She's only in a few panels, but we see her as a 3rd junior high year student attending the same school as Hotaru. She is about 14 years old, Usagi's age at the start of Sailor Moon where she was also a 3rd year junior high student. Chibiusa and Hotaru's uniforms don't seem to be from Juuban Junior High though, so they attend some unknown school. Since there was never much color art for the characters in the story, I guessed on the uniform colors.

Unlike her older forms in the manga (Black Lady, Princess Lady Serenity, and Pallas' age switch spell) Parallel Chibiusa's hair is kept in the same style she is seen with as a child. He face is also less like her mother's, and she and Hotaru seem to both need glasses.

In the story, she and Hotaru attend cram school together in hopes of getting into a good high school and aim to become bureaucrats (and according to Hotaru, eventually take over the world). Chibiusa is a bit more serious and very stern with her rather irresponsible mother, and she seems to be Kousagi's primary caretaker.

I was going to ink and color the image on the left, but my favorite stylus nib gave out on me, so my line work ended up getting shakier than I would like. I left it as a neat sketch instead.
